VIETNAM

Once part of French Indochina, Vietnam is a captivating and exciting country. It is steeped in history and tradition, and its array of ethnic people is as diverse as its landscapes.

The country has quickly become one of the most popular destinations in Southeast Asia with wide-ranging appeal.

Whether you are seeking a luxurious honeymoon retreat with long, deserted, white sand beaches and turquoise waters, or wish to trek with hill tribes, dive amongst coral reefs, or experience a historical tour, Vietnam has something for everyone.

Unlike other Asian destinations, there is no best or worst time to visit Vietnam.  As the country stretches for almost 2000km north to south the seasons are different throughout all its regions.

North Vietnam
Hanoi, Halong Bay & the Sapa Highlands can be rather cold and misty between November and March, at the same time however there will also be many clear and sunny days!  ...and Sapa is a unique spot to celebrate Xmas or New Year, surrounded by chilly, misty mountains.

Central Regions
Hue, Da Nang & Hoi An receive most of their rain from September through to mid-January. This time of year the occasional typhoon may be formed in the southern China Sea and we would therefore advise you to avoid visiting this area from September to December.

South Vietnam

Including Saigon and the Mekong Delta, the region is hot all year round with only the traditional tropical downpour to worry about.

Perhaps the best time to visit Vietnam is between May and August, whilst North and Central Vietnam are mainly dry with clear skies and the South is hot and humid with the occasional thunder storm.

TAILORMADE OR
GROUP TOURS

Whether you're looking to explore the colonial charm of Hanoi, hike rice terraces and meet the hill tribes, want to immerse in the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City, perhaps take coffee with locals in Hanoi, cruise the emerald waters of Halong Bay, or unravel the ancient history of Hue and Hoi An... we have you covered.

End any Vietnam vacation by heading off-tourist route and discovering some of Vietnam's idyllic small islands:

Phu Quoc - Palm-tree lined perfect white sand beaches, mountainous and cloaked in dense jungle.

Con Dao Islands - Sixteen small islands that are immensely beautiful, full of terrific hikes, and some good wildlife spots.

Cham Islands - Near Hoi An, enjoy snorkelling or diving the stunning reefs.

Phu Quy - If quiet and untouched is your dream, head to this laidback island.  Scattered with fishermen's villages and sand dunes, the island is almost untouched by tourism.
