BORNEO & MALAYSIA

One of our top selling destinations, Borneo is a wildlife lovers bucket-list destination - up there with Costa Rica and Galapagos!

Borneo’s tribes may no longer be the fearsome, forest-dwelling headhunters of the past – but they still have many unique skills which risk being lost as they migrate to the cities.

Creating batik textiles; weaving intricate bead jewellery, rattan baskets, and mats; hunting with a blowpipe, and cooking with the island’s unique ingredients, are just some of the unusual skills you can learn during a cultural Borneo holiday.

The climate in Malaysia is hot and humid all year round, with some rain in the afternoons. The average temperature ranges from 24 degree Celsius to 30 degree Celsius in the lowlands. The days are generally sunny and warm and the nights are cool. On the East Coast the rainy season is from early November to the middle of February.
